Our Story

Established on June 9, 1987, YUSA Corporation was a product of a joint venture agreement between the Yamashita Rubber Company of Japan and Lord Corporation, a highly innovative technology and manufacturing company offering a renowned expertise and reputation in oil and gas, aerospace, defense, automotive and industrial solutions. Founded through the careful guidance of its two principal companies, YUSA Corporation merged a solid reputation in the international automotive market with superior industry technical expertise, and was, from its inception, an unparalleled leader in the custom elastomeric rubber industry. Currently occupying a 310,000 square-foot facility located in the historic Washington Court House area of Southern Ohio, YUSA Corporation is fueled by unsurpassed engineering design blended with state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities. For over 35 years, YUSA has been a trusted industry leader in the custom design and manufacture of rubber components crossing multiple industries, specializing in automotive engine (motor), transmission, and exhaust mounts, suspension bushings, dynamic dampers and hoses and tubes. YUSA Corporation’s commitment to complete customer satisfaction has led to a worldwide client base which includes Honda of America Mfg., Honda of Canada Mfg., Mitsubishi Motors North America, General Motors Corporation, Ford Motor Company and numerous others in the North American Market.
